Brian Gibbons - Advisor

Brian is a native of Braintree, Massachusetts. He played prep hockey at Thayer Academy before starring at Boston College, where he won two NCAA National Championships (2008 and 2010). After college, Gibbons enjoyed a successful professional career, playing in the NHL for teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Columbus Blue Jackets, New Jersey Devils, Anaheim Ducks, and Ottawa Senators. Throughout his career, he was recognized for his versatility, strong two-way play, and ability to contribute in all situations. We are excited to have Brian with us, and he is excited to help players achieve their goals in the game that offered him so much.


Paul Carey - Advisor

Paul Carey carved out a respected professional hockey career built on versatility and leadership. After being selected 135th overall in the 2007 NHL Draft by the Colorado Avalanche, he played four standout seasons at Boston College, winning two NCAA National Championships and establishing himself as a reliable two-way forward. Carey went on to play in the NHL with the Avalanche, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Ottawa Senators, and Boston Bruins, appearing in over 100 games while also serving as captain and key veteran presence in the AHL for the Providence Bruins. Following his playing career, Carey transitioned into coaching, returning to his alma mater, Boston College, as an assistant coach under Greg Brown beginning in 2022. His path from NCAA champion to NHL player, collegiate coach, and now advisor reflects his deep understanding of the game, professionalism, and commitment to developing the next generation of players.


Marc Concannon - Advisor

Marc Concannon, born in Everett, Massachusetts in 1987, built a well-rounded hockey career marked by steady growth and team-first play. He began at The Pingree School in South Hamilton, MA, where he became a standout forward—recording 112 career points on 62 goals and 50 assists—and earning First Team All-New England honors his senior year, Following his successful prep career, Concannon went on to play two seasons for the Valley Jr. Warriors in the EJHL. Success in his two junior seasons earned him a ride the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2007–2011), where he appeared in 85 games for the Minutemen. Known for his responsible two-way play, physical presence, and reliability in key defensive and penalty-killing situations, Concannon transitioned from a limited freshman role to a steady veteran contributor by his senior year. His path from Pingree standout to NCAA Division I competitor exemplifies commitment, consistency, and the kind of work ethic that defines long-term success in hockey. Following playing, Marc has been working in skill development for 15+ years as well as advising youth players.


Jake Juron - Advisor

Jake is the current Hockey Operations Director for the CP Dynamo, and also coaches the u16 and u18 teams. He is an Eastern Scout for the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in the USHL. Jake grew up in the Albany, NY area playing for the CP Dynamo. In his time with the Dynamo he served as a team captain and was a part of a New York State Championship team. After Dynamo, he played junior hockey in the NCDC for the PAL Jr. Islanders and South Shore Kings. In his final year of junior hockey, he committed to play collegiately at SUNY Potsdam.

In Jake’s first year at Potsdam, he was voted Freshman Athlete of the Year for the Athletic Department. In his second year, he was elected as a team representative for the NCAA Student Advisory Committee. On this committee, Jake designed Hockey For The Angels Night at a Potsdam game. This event was created to raise money and awareness for Angelman Syndrome.

Jake Cass - Advisor

Jake Cass, born 1996, in Stillwater, Minnesota, was a steady two-way defenseman whose hockey journey reflects discipline and persistence. He began his junior career in the USHL with the Indiana Ice, where he showed promise as a reliable right-shot defenseman capable of playing in all situations. Cass went on to play collegiate hockey at Hamline University from 2017 to 2020. Known for his poise with the puck, strong positioning, and commitment to the defensive side of the game, he became a dependable presence on the blue line. After college, Cass transitioned to professional hockey, signing with the Birmingham Bulls of the SPHL before earning a call-up to the Idaho Steelheads in the ECHL in 2021. His progression from Minnesota junior leagues to the professional ranks showcases his work ethic, leadership, and ability to adapt and succeed at every level of competition. Since playing he has worked in skills development, as well as helping players navigate their journey in hockey.
